Privacy and your data
This page is general on purpose. It explains in everyday words what the service handles so it can run, and where to go with a question.
We handle what we need to run lookups, keep accounts, and bill credit. We do not sell your searches, and we do not need your Google password because sign-in goes through Google.
What happens in each situation

How we use it
We use account and call records to answer requests, show your balance, count credit, and protect the service from misuse. That is the whole list.
The domains you look up are public websites. Even so, your pattern of lookups can say something about your plans, so we treat it as yours and do not publish it.
We may share information when the law requires it, or with service providers who help us run the site, only as far as they need to do so.
Your choices
You can use the free lookup without an account. Signing in is needed only for credit-based calls.
To ask about your data, correct it, or request that your account be dealt with, use the account page after signing in. Tell us what you want and we will look at it.
Keep your API key private. Anyone holding it can spend your balance, so treat it like a house key and replace it if you think it has been seen.
Changes to this page
We may update this note as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
Using the site after an update means you accept the new wording. Read the terms of use too, since the two pages work together.
