About RankDose and the small-dose idea
We built RankDose for people who want to glance at their links the way others glance at a step counter: regularly, briefly, without drama.
Why a dose and not a dashboard
Link data is easy to over-consume. People open a huge suite after a bad week, stare at forty charts, and leave with more worry than they arrived with.
RankDose takes the opposite view. A short, steady look at three or four numbers, written down on a regular day, tells most small sites what they need, and it costs fractions of a cent per call.
The research and editorial team behind this site writes every page, and no named individuals appear because the pages speak for the product, not for a personality.

How a typical week with RankDose goes
Monday or Sunday, same slot
You open the free lookup, note DR and referring domains, and write the date. It takes about two minutes.
A compare call
You line up three rivals in one call for 1 credit and look only at direction.
A monthly deep breath
Once a month, after the index refresh, you pull referring domains for 2 credits and read the new names.
Rest
If nothing moved, you close the file. A quiet month is a result, not a failure.
Where the numbers come from
Everything you see comes from our own crawler and our own index. We do not resell another vendor's data under a new name.
The index refreshes about once a month. A link that appeared last week may not be there yet, and we would rather tell you that than imply instant coverage.
Domain Rating here is our own metric, round(100 x log(ref_domains+1) / log(20,000,000)). It is comparable in spirit to Ahrefs DR or Moz DA but is a different number.
What we do not do
- We do not track keywords or search positions; Ahrefs and Semrush do that better.
- We do not promise rankings, recoveries or penalty removals.
- We do not offer a subscription; you buy credit and spend it when you wish.
- We do not show invented customers or testimonials.
